General Info

Time of Sessions:  In the Spring or Summer, the best times to do sessions (due to lighting) are before 10 am, and after 6 pm. In the Fall or Winter, the best times to do sessions (due to lighting) is after 2 pm and before sunset.
And don't be scared of cloudy weather! Sometimes cloudy weather gives out the most perfect, even lighting! :)



Mini Sessions

-No longer than 30 minutes

-Does not apply to groups of four or more, or newborns, due to the fact that we need more time to capture those special moments

Newborn Sessions

Stylized Newborn Session: there isn't a time limit, but it does take 2 to 4 hours for the session due to diaper changes, feedings, putting the baby to sleep, etc. These are best done when the newborn is 2-14 days old.
* Make sure to bring extra clothes, wipes, bottles, etc.

Lifestyle Newborn Session: these are done at your home, they are more casual and relaxed. These can be done up until the baby is 6 weeks old. The session can last 1-2 hours max.

Family Sessions

-The session can take up to an hour and a half

-Family sessions include up to 5 family members, there is an additional fee for larger groups

Tips:

What To Wear:

Summer/ Spring - Wear dresses/ skirts, jeans or khakis. Wear cool colors.

Fall/ Winter - Wear tights, cool coats, darker pants, fancy shirts. Wear warm colors.

Good Rule: Parents wear neutral colors, kids wear bright colors.
Also try to pick between 2-3 colors& then try to coordinate between those colors.

* Wear something you are comfortable in, it shows in the pictures if you are uncomfortable 

What Not to Wear:

Jeans and white shirt, or everyone matching and wearing the same thing

Crazy or busy patterns, they photograph funny.


Posing tips:

I aim for natural and casual posing, but it is always good to go on Pinterest and have some ideas in mind too! Keep it touchy- feely, look at each other, tickle, play, interact!

Cake Smash Sessions

 

-No longer than an hour and a half

-I provide the smash cake, balloons, decorations & fun! You bring extra wipes and clothes ;)

General Info for Sessions

* Payment is due in full the day of the session  

* Deposit and payments are both non-refundable (most deposits can be used for another session, under certain circumstances)

* Cash is the preferred method of payment, but I do take checks too.

* If paying with check, there is an additional $5 fee

* When your disc is ready, you can either pick it up free of charge, or there is a $5 fee to ship your disc via USPS

* A print release is included with every package - that way you can print whatever size photo you want & as many as you want!

* All sessions take place in Somerset, KY. There is a $15 travel fee.

* SOOC (straight out of camera) shots are not included, and are not for sale


* Dogs are part of the family too! If you have a dog & want to bring them along, please let me know ahead of time.

Rescheduling:

* With two days or less of a notice for cancelling your session, or if you missed your session, there will be a charge of $20 for the rebooking, plus the session price.

* If you are more than 30 minutes late to your session, the session is canceled & you will have to pay a rebooking fee of $20 plus the cost of the session.

* Cancellations and the decision to not reschedule renders your deposit forfeit.

* I work with outdoor natural light; so sometimes I may need to reschedule due to weather related problems. If that is the case I will let you know immediately & try and accommodate a quick rescheduling at no cost.

* If you reschedule more than once (unless it being weather related) & I have not been given enough notice (2-3 days ahead of time), there will be an additional rebooking fee of $15.
